Surplus Equipment and Vehicle Auction is July 19!

For 36 years, CapCOG has been hosting an auction to help our members sell surplus equipment and vehicles.  The Auction is open to the public to bid on items from CapCOG’s member municipalities and Associate members.

Gross proceeds from the last few years:

2013 – $198,300                                  2015 – $235,600
2014 – $214,500                                  2016 – $161,751

Who may sell items
CapCOG Municipal Members and CapCOG Associate Members

What may be offered for sale
Cars, trucks, vehicles of all types, office equipment and supplies, appliances and tools, computers, furniture, etc.  Only flat screen monitors.  NO Televisions

Cost
Participants receive 80% of the selling price; 20% is retained for the expenses of auctioneer, advertising and administrative costs

Advertising
CapCOG is responsible for all paid advertising.  Members are encouraged to place the auction information on their websites
